Hello,
if you are also coming to Budapest than please read this letter, it's not a waste of time
.
I'm a 20 year old student from Budapest, and I have something to "offer" you if you are interested.
Two years ago me and two friends have started to spend time with "giving accomodation" to tourists, as follows : (here you can see also:

We have flats in the city center (V. district one street away from the vaci street-main shopping street and 200 meters from the duna river in Molnár street you can check it on city map:
http://www.terkepek.hu/startmap.php just write to the "utca" place that molnar and there is more than one, so choose the one in the V. district and "mutasd meg" is to show it ),
with separate rooms and we rent it to tourists, mostly backpackers, but also other types of tourists.
The quality of the rooms are very nice, everyone till now was totally satisfyed with the conditions, and we're also not expensive at all. I can tell you we're very cheap (arround 12euros a night), and for this kind of money you won't be together with unknown people, so our rooms are separate (2-3-4 bedded rooms), private rooms, I think for this quality we are the cheapest in the city. And i still haven't said anything about the bottle of Hungarian welcome wine, which you get when you check in and ofcourse we don't have a checkout time, instead we offer for you free tea and coffee...So...
We also host our guests, we tell them, where to find the best pubs, places, clubs, restaurants in the city and we give a lot of useful local information, which are not available in any travel guide or in a tourist info.That's cos we live our everyday life in Budapest. So when you check in you get a packet full of helpful information eg.: maps, transportation info, program tips, ect.
If they have any problem, query, question you can just call us.
We also often organise parties for our guests. If you wish you can join us. Great fun... We're different from all accomodations, hostels in another way too, we have around 10-15 guests a night, so we get a chance to have a closer contact with them, and they can explore Budapest in a much better way and get to know it with the help of local people.
So if you are planning to stay in Hungary, just write us and we'll reserve you a place, you don't need us to send money for reserving before your arrival!

Hei alle norske/svenske/danske backpackere!
Okay, la dere bli overbrevist av disse gutta. Vi bodde i leiligheten i Pest, en helt ny leilighet, og har hatt det helt super her! Den er sentral, ligger bare 5 min unna kollektiv transport, og er dessuten veldig ren og fin. Og det er store rom! Guttene er verdens snilleste, og passer alltid pa at alt star bra til. Ogsa tar de dere gjerne med ut pa pub, og sorger for at dere far et fantastik opphold i Budapest!... Sa, la ikke denne sjansen ga fra dere-bli i alle fall med a se!
