We are not blocking any flights, planes or airlines. All airplanes with right transponder are shown.

Atleast I could now see an Blue1 plane over Kalmar. Propably reason you have not seen Blue 1 planes is that they don't have so many flights inside the range. So just be patient, and you'll see also.

Seppo,

Try to look for Blue1 depature from Helsinki to Zürich 10.05 finnish time. When they use the Avro aeroplane you can see it let's say 40 minutes later over "Södra Östersjön". But most times they use MD90 on this route and I don't think the aircraft is equipped with the requested transponder too be seen here.

For some reason there is no MD, Fokker50, SAAB A/C´s visible. Do they possible use another type of transponder?

Just for info: since the Elementary Surveillance (ELS) requirements came into force last summer, Blue1's MD-90s have the exact same transponders as the Avros. I would suspect a problem with the flygradar database.

We have the MD90 in our database and the SBS-1 can receive the signal from Blue1 MD90, but signal doesn't contain position data so the software cannot plot it on the map.

Ok, I was just told the FMS doesn't have enough memory to perform lots of functions at the same time, including the position data. It would be quite $$$ive to update the FMS, so no improvement expected soon, at least until Enhanced Surveillance (EHS) becomes mandatory... Maybe this also explains the lack of SAS MD-80s on the radar screen.
