Hey, im a kiwi who is living in stockholm and I thought I might just let everyone in on a awesome little spot where kiwis go on holiday that not many international tourists find. My family have been hiring a holiday house there for years.
It is located in the Marlborough Sounds, at the top of the south island. To get to the house that we hire it is a 30 min boat trip from Picton.
This place is beautiful year round, not just in summer.

This would be a great way to see bit of the real New Zealand and meet some locals. It would be a much more rememberable thing to do than just staying in all the major tourist spots.
